NOT A love spell

Personally, I don't like love spells. I think having someone fall for me because of me is much more meaningful than having magic do all the work. So there is someone that I find physically attractive, but we don't live close, and had never met in person. I don't want to cast a love spell because I don't know this person, but I do want to get their attention somehow. How would I go about getting some help from magic to do this? Not only do I want to get some notice from them, but they also may have a sort of preconcieved notion about people who fit my description, and I want them to be able to put this aside to at least notice me. I'm not sure entirely how I can get help from magic to do this, but if there is a way, I woud love to know.
