| All my life i felt i was different. I felt like i didnt belong anywhere or was accepted or understood. I was raised to believe in the christian way of living and though i had no judgements it didnt feel right to me. When i was thirteen i hit a huge wave of depression and i felt like i never got to experience my life as a thirteen year old. I came out of it at fourteen and began to appreciate life a lot more i believe the goddess had something to do with my "waking"(thought i didnt know it at the time) when i was sixteen, i had heard a word that i never heard before. It was Wicca. As i drank in everything i could about this religion, i felt more and more at peace and a sense of coming home. I thank the goddess every day for opening my eyes to this path and leading me from the darkness. | |
