| I have been doing much reading as of late and in doing so have begun to find not only a new path, but also I’ve begun to find myself as well. There are others out there who believe as I do in a never ending circle of life, a cycle of seasons of life and death and of being reborn. I have always felt that reincarnation was the way, I felt that there is something more to the universe than science can tell us or the narrow minded religious types in the world would have us to believe. I have found for myself a path that embraces my beliefs and incorporates them in to a communal harmony with nature and with all those I come in contact with. A peaceful religion full of ceremony and ancient tradition designed to honour nature and the elements and in doing so bring honour amongst ourselves as well. I say here and now for all those would listen; I believe in the ways of Wicca and will live my life hence forth in the philosophy of the Rede which states plainly, “if it harm none, do what ye will”. I must insure that my actions will not harm others or myself. I believe in the three fold law and the premise of that which I do will return to me three fold good for good and evil for evil. This I declare of my own free will. There I have put this out for all the world to see, I will continue to ready study and meditate on that which I have learned thus far in the hopes that it will enlighten me to further discovery and bring with it an inner peace that I have long sought to find. Now... how about a cake and ale ritual? |
