| Well here it is a brand new year and as with its predecessors, it to presents new challenges, new opportunities and of course new possibilities. I had the pleasure of both saying farewell to the previous year and ringing in the new one on a positive note. I'm looking forward to seeing where this new year will take me. Although there are some things which haven't changed much from year to year, there have been some slight improvements which I am grateful for. I have been blessed with two wonderful daughters who have grown up to be fine young ladies, and I have also been blessed with the presence of my newest adopted daughter who when it comes to the caring of others, has lived up to her name and although I am not her biological father, I hope that she'll know that I will always look upon her as my daughter and will always be proud of her and thankful for how she's accepted both her new sisters and myself into her life. My mother and sisters have come along way in such a short time in recent months. all three have gone their separate ways from once living under the same roof and yet they are adjusting quite well. It pleases me to see them flourishing and enjoying their lives while still remaining bonded to each other. I admit it was a rocky beginning but like all books, its the ending which determines how good a story is. There was a time in my life when I thought that my heart had truly died, when I had accepted things as they were and no longer held on to the hopes of light at the end of my darkened tunnel. But it may seem that the Divine forces which govern our lives has sought fit to bring about a change in life. I now know what bliss is and have learned many things with every passing day. Sure I may have the same problems with keeping ahead of the money game but I 'm fortunate to say that its the only issue that I now face. For the most part I am still in good physical health, (well I'll get back to you after my ultrasound), and I am still in good, no great spirits. Perhaps this will be my lucky year and I hope that it will be yours to. |
