The Beginning

I have always known that the beat I dance to is unique and very personal. I believe in an energy source but I wasn't sure how to interpret that, then I picked up a book on Wicca spells (looking for inner peace) and the more I read about the Wiccan lifestyle the more I realised that this is why I am the way I am. There is an inner Wiccan in me that is ready to come out. I am so excited to finally find a reason for my thoughts and beliefs. What a relief to find yourself after years of just wondering. My first tattoo (at age 40), was of the sun, the moon and three stars. I couldn't explain why I chose that, but I felt it. Now I know why. Ironic, yes. Coincidental, I don't think so. It was a sign and it has taken me 10 years to see it. I am a Virgo, a hippie at heart, an artist, and I love color. I see names in color as if you would see an auora. I touch things and feel communication but could never explain why. I have been told that I have a healing touch. All these things are beginning to make sense to me now. I am new to Wicca, and reading everything I can find, but hope to make a new aquaintance who can hold my hand a bit as I begin practicing some of the spells I feel compelled to do.
