not seeing eye to eye

By roseraven23 2010-07-16 14:43:27
I know how it feels to be judged for being a wiccan by my own family. My father and stepmother are so called catholics and they are more judgmental then anyone I have encountered in my life. They don't accept me for me which I have learned to deal with, I am at that point to where how others see me is not going to change nor affect my life as a wiccan. If my parents can't accept me for my beliefs or how I want to live my life, then to me they are not real family they are hypocrites. Everyone has to live their life their own way and not how someone else wants them to live otherwise we all wouldn't be unique. I for one will not push my religion on my own children or judge them on whatever religion they choose when they are older. I will tell them about the difference between the religions and teach them my beliefs if they want to know or learn. But if they choose to be a different religion then I am fine by that because it is their choice and their life to believe what they want to believe.
