Hello! I am a 30 year old mother of 1. I am also a first time college student, working on a History degree. I was raised in a very strict christian household. I began studying Wicca at age 17. It has always been a personal passion of mine. I do not know anyone else who walks a path similar to mine, but I've been looking for several years. I still incorporate christian beliefs into my life, and my child's, but that is largely due to the effect my beliefs would have on my family. I've never been able to bring myself to part from their relationships. Unfortunately, some people in some parts of the world (and this country) still believe that one should not "suffer a witch to live". I've been researching and studying different forms of witchcraft for half of my life, and have only encountered a few things that truly frightened me. I believe that magic is in all of us, and it's a gift from the God and Goddess. I also believe that the majority of religions have a single creator as their basis, and I don't understand or approve of all the separatism that people want to inflict on their fellow humans. It would be a much happier world if we could all remember that we were never granted the right to judge each other. Criminal or political judges have a different task than judging a person's beliefs. I however, would not want that job either.
