All this hype |

I've been seeing all kinds of talk on things like satanist wicca. I know the first thing to come to mind is:
huh? WTF? There is no satan in witchcraft! This is nonsense!
Hmm, perhaps the person who practices this doesn't worship satan, but merely uses the word in a different context. I don't claim to know exactly what it is, but I do want to learn more. Different views on religion always interest me.
I'm just saying, maybe we should consider the whole deal and context used. Perhaps the title isn't literal, and we find ourselves judging prematurely.
And who are we to say we are the only ones allowed to claim the word 'witch'. We should learn more before speaking about it. I don't see this being any different than being prejudged by someone unfamilar with wicca. When they hear the word, images pop into their heads and they immediatley think the negative.
Let's not do the same. :)
And please, If you want to respond to this, can we do it without being rude and using foul language? |
