When I studied religion in my Sociology class, we looked at it from an unbiased point of view. I'm not saying all people are biased, but most are. It's common knowledge that Christianity is the most praccticed religion in the world, with almost two-thirds of the human race following it. The next two most practiced are Muslim and Hinduism. I noticed that the poster said we need a more organized religion, that we need to put our religion out there so that non-wiccans can find it. Fact is, non-wiccans know it's here. Misinformation can mislead them. But once a person is molded by a particular culture, it's hard to revert into a new one. When I say culture, I don't mean nationality culture, I'm speaking of everyday family/peer culture. If you have a child raised in a christian home, who reads the bible, goes to church, odds are that that child will believe what they do. I'm not saying all of them, but most of them. It's hard to put forth something that you know will recieve ridicule and disdain. No matter how much we hope and try, we will be looked down upon. It's sad, and it sucks, but some minds just can't be changed. Unfortunatley for us, almost two-thirds of the human race see us the same way. Humans are imperfect and we are driven by the instinct to be right. To be dominant. It's hard to break away from that.
