| I don't think it's right for us to judge them at all. What they believe is normal for them, and what we believe is the strange religion. Islam is not the only religion to do this. Most mainstream religions look down on those who aren't associated with it. Most mainstream religions treat women poorer than men. This is actually common practice in most religions. Man will always find the unfamiliar strange and feel the need to judge. Every person alive will judge another. Even us. We are no different just because we're wiccan. Religion is just a system of faith based beliefs. No religion has any solid based facts. We take it all on pure faith. Since we are human, we stereotype and have prejudices. EVERY person alive has prejudices. Again, we are not exempt. We are human above being wiccan. So, maybe Islam is different, and we find it offensive in some ways, or wrong. Who are we to say our beliefs are more right than anothers? Who are we to judge? |
