| Well, here's my 2 cents. Number One Rev, the word is PEACE not piece. Islam is a religion that says it is OKAY to KILL ANYONE who does see things their way. It's plain and simple. Kill the infidels, they say. If you do you get somethings like 40 virgins in heaven. Funny thing is you're in spirit so what the heck would anyone do with them? And if I'm a female suicide bomber, do I get male virgins? What would I do with them anyhow? I was married to a muslim, he was a hypocrite, a liar, a violent man and hated all women. I am not generalizing. I've known over 400 arabs from many different middle eastern countries. The men are all the same. I have little to no respect for any of them. When they come here, they basically do everything against their religion and think praying 5 times a day will make them a good muslim. They drink, do drugs, buy hookers, you name it. Not to mention that many marry here even though they may have a wife overseas and never mention the fact. Islam is an OCD religion. I've studied Islam and psychology. There is something wrong with any faith that makes you follow a rigid schedule to pray... A woman on her cycle is forbidden to pray in the mosque. a woman on her cycle is considered unholy and unclean. a woman is chattel and should walk behind her husband by 2 paces. Women are for perpetuating a man's lineage, nothing more. Sons are a blessing, daughters are a curse. I spent many years in love with a Saudi. I knew many of his friends well. The cultures clash but it's easier to adapt here than there. I know that many Imams and Mulas twist the Koran the same way idiot preachers twist the bible. I do not trust, nor will I ever trust an arab. This is a fact, not a generalized statement. I would no sooner trust a Jordanian over an Iranian... I have sat in a room of Moroccans and Palstinians and heard them speak of killing pretty much everyone...little did they know I understand Arabic... People who are Muslim have little to no respect for life on Earth. They only care about death and think they will all end up in paradise. This is my first hand experience. Do I sound harsh? Good. You don't know these people or their mind sets till you have lived with them, and I have. Thank Goddess, I'm Wiccan. |
