Seeing in Color

By BakaKuma 2011-01-19 22:45:56
i dont feel that a blog really has to be about problems or solutions, i feel that if i want to write something just because it tickles my fancy, then thats exactly what i shall do. however if you feel that you dont want to read my ramblings, then stop reading now and leave the blog, but, if you feel like seeing through my eyes, then i invite you to tumble further down the rabbit hole and come see the wonderland beyond the looking glass that is my eyes. now begins the actual blog.

Sometimes i feel that i'm looking out at a world in black and white, people like me and people not like me, i dont mean race, i mean people that are spiritually sensitive, and people that are vangaurds to their negative inflection on my kind. they sit there like the border patrol, watching us, keeping us out of their "blessed" places, giving us angry looks in their churches, their mosques, and their other holy places, and i wonder, how many of their "holy places" are built on what used to be our holy places, places that mother earth and the spirits felt willing to share wisdom at, is it perhaps that they are intrigued by the feelings left behind when they forced the spirits to flee by destroying the nature that housed them? could it be that people of mainstream religions are suppressing us out of fear? interestingly enough, pagan religions were around before the "big" religions, and us pagans were so afraid of their "crusades" that we simply went into hiding, and i look at the documents like the bill of rights, the book of laws, and the bible. don't they all preach of freedoms for all of us? yet here we are still pursecuted for our beliefs, for our supposed "freedoms" we are punished for doing what they tell us to, they say to pursue our happiness, yet when we do so, they kick us in the shins and tell us to stop on the path that we are walking, and i think that i've seen a very common thing here, on this website alone, most people here are looking for help, for somone to teach, yet there are precious few that still are able, i wonder, is it because they aren't out there, or because those that have the wisdom to lead are so lost without our books of teachings that were taken, that we dont know what to teach, after all go to a school, take a teacher's books, his knowledge, and he will teach them nothing, because he has nothing, many of us are forced to go on feelings and bits of memories screaming at us through our past lives, i often think that this is unfair to us, what have done that is so wrong? we worship, and praise as we see fit, and are disparraged for trying to be ourselves. sometimes i think that i dont belong, that i dont have a place to belong, and then i look through my mind, and words stick out, quotes, i'll share some with you guys. Franklin Delanore Roosevelt "when you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot in it, and hang on." Eleanore Roosevelt "nobody can make you feel inferior without your own consent" Me "walk any path you choose, but know they all lead to the same destination" and a few others "its all good" "every dog has his day" "anger is loneliness wearing red" "pain is weakness leaving the body" "the pain is good, it lets you know you're still alive" "the fires of hate drown in the tears of sorrow, yet the fires of passion ignite the sorrow, and burn away its tears to reveal a sunny smiling happiness within our deepest hearts" "failures are only early attempts at success" "the only dream that fails is the one you give up on" "every step we take towards being accepted, is a step away from ourselves" well thats about all i feel like saying quotes wise. i guess my main point to all of this is, dont give up hope, we are strong, and we will persevere and leave our mark on the world if we dont give up, any dream worth having is one worth fighting for, and i know many of us pagans dont believe in ourselves, but i'm here to say, i believe in all of you, i believe that if you try hard, and dont give up hope, you can fly among eagles, you can soar among the clouds, your dreams are just ouside your fingertips, are you going to let yourself watch them go, or are you going to stretch and grab them? i know that you may be older than me, or maybe thinking that i'm just some guy, but i'm here to tell you, one man can change the world, if he believes in himself enough to try.

i guess thats all i have to say, for now anyway. perhaps im crazy, and my words have no meaning, but, maybe, just maybe, i'm here to help you make your dreams real, maybe i'm here to guide you on your path, maybe you're here to help me on mine, perhaps i'm not old or wise enough to earn your attention, but i'll never stop trying to help, one good deed can change a person's entire outlook on life, it may be such a small change that you dont notice at times, but any change made for the right reasons, can still be a step towards the right path. hmm, well i guess on that note i'm just gonna say, goodbye, thanks for reading, and i wish you all the luck on your path to your true self, your friend, Kuma
