I don't want you for my coven if... (Disclaimer: I am not racist. I respect and honor all the tribes of the world, whatever skin color, and whatever the culture. some of the things I say in the following article are only reflections on people's cliche ways of thinking. and If you think I'm being too nit-pickey, realize that all of these things tell me that you’re not serious.) if you look at wicca as an excuse to wear fancy medieval style dresses. If you look at wicca as an excuse to wear wizard robes with tall pointy hats and moons and stars all over them. If you look at wicca as an excuse to wear fantasy druid robes or churchey roman priest robes. If you think the word tribe means brown people that don’t wear shoes. Or if you think the word tribe only refers to American Indians. If you think ancient European/Celtic culture is Arthur, Camelot, and the knights of the round table. If you think ancient European culture looks like the medieval times fair. If you think bellydancing is Celtic or European. If you think “tribal belly dance” should be at Beltane festivals. If your witch name is something silly or over-used like raven silver moon skydancer dreamcatcher Morrigan darkrose dragonwing bloodkisses! Wicca is not church! our relationship to deity is not like Christian relationship to diety. Neo-druids need to hear these words too. We musn't construct ceremonies modeled after church liturgies!
