| I grew up in a catholic church , my Mimi was a train ride away from joining the nunnery , she chose to marry instead even at the old age of 30 , back then , she still had 12 kids . Why does the holy bible say only one way to heaven , not that I'm a believer of such a place , we all can find our own place of solace , somewhere , here or in the next dimension . Is there a hell with fire and brimstone ? Or is that a way the churches try to control the masses so they will obey their every boring rule ! I say the bible has lots of good ideas and policies on how to treat our neighbors . It is safe to say most persons in the churches are hypocrites and just want to justify their own conscience , when they commit any sins as described in the bible . It would be a good idea if we all could try to not harm others , and respect each others own personal belief system ! Easier said than done .. | |
