| I have found that there are two wiccan paths, that of the fanatic and that of the witch, that is not to say that one is better or worse, that judgement is a personal oppinion for each individual. However for those who feel inclined to "correct" those on the "wrong" path i have the following to say. I mean this not in scolding at all, not in the slightest, but instead as another thought to consider before harsh words are at risk of being exchanged as often happens when views clash. I'm thinking that when you look for wicca as i did when i first found it there is alot of misleading information out there. In my area there isn't even anyone i really know who is inspired by the wiccan way like i am. Thus when i started and my friend joined me i found it difficult to learn as she was of the kind who like it for self-profeting reasons. The only book i owned that really tought me well was too advanced for me to read so i only now got to read it and understand it well enough. What i'm trying to say is that many people are not actually aware of what wicca is and can be because there is so little to teach us but i have hope because those with wiccan souls will be persistant in their hunger for knowledge and they will learn what they need to eventually. Those who really want it and belong to it will find it, the only thing others who are already there can do is make themselves available to them to help guide them when the occasion arises that they realize where they need to go. |
