The Old Law

Due to circumstances beyond my control, Im having to write a new Grimiore. Well, this time around, Ive decided to go even deeper than before. I decided to include the Old Law ( the 161 laws of Wicca ) in my new Grimiore. Even though I had read through them before, I guess I never gave them much heed, especially since most dont apply to the Wicca we practice today, but in studying them, my eyes have been opened to the trials and tribulations our brothers and sisters had to go through to keep the beliefs alive. If you have never read them, you should. Just keep in mind, they were written when we were still being hunted down and burned at the stake. Ive asked younger Wiccans if they had read The Old Law, and they didnt even know what it was. That truly dissapointed me. As I said before, most of it isnt applicable to our ways now, but it is a part of our history that should not be forgotten.
