| I recently discovered the use for the Theban alphabet, which is apparently closely tied with Witchcraft and Wicca. While really only a substitution cipher used to hide one's writings, the Theban alphabet is perfect for one's Book of Shadows, as its very roots bear the history of our ancestors's struggles of religious defiance. Perhaps this little part of our heritage might help to renew our our fascination in the Craft and the Goddess.I, for one know that this little cipher will no doubt occupy my free time as I learn how to write it! | |
