New but not |

IT is hard to correctly explain. I am new to Wicca but in turn I am not. I believe since a young age I have always felt drawn to nature and the fact that all natural things are beings, created by the divine. I never fit in with the modern religious groups be it Christian or Catholic.... it never felt right or natural and those I came in contact with also felt false.... even the ones with good intentions. I felt they were missing the bigger picture. I mean how can one say they have an all loving god, to judge none, yet hate on ever other religion except their own, claim only their religion and rule are the one true way to eternity, salvation and heaven... that anything else is sin and evil. That to me is hypocrisy to the greatest degree.
So Wicca was a natural path to take... judge none, harm none, love and share love, help others, love our Earth, protect her and help her. Honor our family, our friends and loved ones...honor all of nature and the Goddess and God that created it all.
We recognize that good brings us good, bad brings us bad, harm none for it will come back to you.... the original Golden Rule if you ask me.
So I am looking to find like minded people, maybe in time someone to mentor me as well. |
