| For the past 3 years I've been bound by the chains of mainstream organized religion [Christianity] & have felt...enslaved. Christians claim that their religion sets people free, yet, it made me feel like a slave because the religion has so many things that its adherants aren't allowed to do. I'm a free spirit and after 3 years I woke up this morning and decided to shed the shackles of that close-minded, judgemental religion once & for all. I can't begin to describe the way it feels to finally be able to do what I love again. It's as though a burdensome weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I'm so happy to be back in a religion that truly does give people freedom with the only restriction being we're not to harm another being if it's at all avoidable. | |
