| I've grown up in an Atheist family, but they have always told me I'm open to follow my dreams. I went off to church, and grew strong along side with God until I hit around the age 10, from there I was on and off questioning myself and god. Everything God was, and how we as people had to act was nothing about how I felt. I fought hard to keep my faith with God, but left and settled with atheism, like my family. This didn't feel comfortable for me, because I felt like there was more, in my own mind I made up a religion that suited me. I truly believed humans and the earth were connected, I loved going outside and listening to the Earth around tell me how it felt. I grew to love meditation, and night sky and morning sun soaking into my skin. I believed in reincarnation for when you didn't complete your life the way you should have. I also grew interest into magic. Year later I came across my friend mention Wicca one day, and I looked it up. Reading about it opened my heart, everything I read was me! I did all of this but practice magic because I didn't feel safe going off on my own with out some guide lines of how to properly do it with out being greedy, and harmful towards other. I was so amazed to find my personality in a religion, it truly was meant to be. I went to the library to read up on Wicca, but I wasn't allowed to take out the books because they librarians claimed that the books they have are taken out and never returned, or just go missing.. So trying to read an inter book in the library, it difficult. It's been 2 years from this, and I've gotten my first book about Wicca, and I love it. My heart and soul sing so deeply towards this religion, I always find myself coming back to it. I'm 18 now, wish me luck with my future, I KNOW this is the right place for me | |
