Being Actively Wiccan

I've been trying to start a new chapter in my life recently. I haven't been actively religious (practicing in any way) for quite a few years now. The problem is, I am a very busy and distractable person. I work full time, I am married and keep a house, and I am also in graduate school, working on a master's degree, and I volunteer at the local library. I seldom have time free just for taking care of my "self" and when I do, I tend to favor a book and a glass of wine or a long shower more than anything that could even remotely be construed as more work. So even though I genuinely wish to develop my spiritual self, and enjoy learning more about wicca, it seems like I find myself putting off any effort in that direction. I am making a resolution today to start looking for the spiritualism in my life. I will stop in the bath to appreciate the life giving nature of the water. I will pause before getting into the car to drive to the store and take a deep breath of outdoor air and feel the unique character of the day. I will touch the earth, not through my shoes but with my skin. I will spend time before bed focusing myself instead of getting on Facebook. I hope these small efforts can help me be more prepared for bigger efforts. I need a chaneg and I feel like that change needs to be a communion with the powers that be.
