| I step out onto my porch to get my son on the bus and am awed by the view within my sight. Clouded was the sky but before my surprised eyes it opened up, and what shall I see before me? Sun rise. Purple plush clouds, and as if an artist lightly swayed his soft brush across the darkness, pink hinted the clouds that darkened the sky earlier. Yes the sun was rising but the curious thing was, the pink was suddenly everywhere. Far off to the east was what looked to be a finished canvas. Faint hints of pink lightly brushed the dark grey clouds. It was absolutely beautiful. And to this I say Thank you to the creators of beauty that was set before me, thank you for making my time of darkness finally seem not so dark. Thank you for helping me see, there truely is beauty hidden within darkness, no matter what darkness lies ahead, there's beauty in the end. |
