| Did you see the flash before the flood, Did you try the best you could, Did you try at all, Before the breaking fall, Did it help you knowing, Our life together had stoped growing, Or did it make you break, Was it all you could take, Didn't you realize you can't have it all, Didn't you notice we were stumbling before the fall, How could it be, that you couldn't see, How badly I wanted this to work out, Now our flower of love dies in drout, So I walk away, Letting the dying pettals fall where they may, I hang my head in complete disbelief, Seeing you still look right through me, But I wont let tears escape from my eyes, Ill just turn and say good bye. |
