| Merry Meet. I'm new but not, I have been intrested in wicca for awhile, but waited till I was 14 to 15 to start to get into it, cause my dad is into it, and avised me to wait till I felt ready. I try to ask my dad questions when I can, but as I am not living with my parents anymore it is hard to ask him things, so I am asking for help on here, to help me to better my understanding and such. I am now 17, and I am ready to learn as much as I can, I know some things from asking my dad, but he said it is hard for him to explain to here I can understand it. I have a Tarot deck, but it is packed away at themoment, it is The Moon Deck, I beleave, but I do not have a book for it, so I am unable to understand how to use them, though my dad is looking for a book for me, and is willing to teach me when he and feel i'm reading to start with Tarot cards. I have not yet started a Book Of Shadows, though I am planing on it, when I have the money to go buy a book to use. So here are some of my questions, I do I get a wiccan name, I have read that, a wiccan name is importent cause a name is power?? And how would I go about protecting my self from the dead people I see?? I have seen the dead since Iwas a little girl, and had stoped seeing them for a few years, but am seeing and hearing them again, as of three years ago, I belieave. But my dad will not tell me why I see them, and hear them, but I do know it runs in the family, for my dad and older ister see and hear them as well. But my older sister, chose not to accept the fact that she can, and I would like to accept it, but I would like to be protected from them as well. How would I go about doing this?? And I am planing on getting a neckles, with a pentcal on it, I can get my dad to cleans it for me, but how would I or my dad go about putting a protection spell and such on it??
