| it might not be so frightening to you but it scared and hurt me. it was a dream. i was in my art class and i was sobbing with every single one of my friends at my side. my friend rubbed my back and said, "it'll be ok" and i stood up with everyone wincing at my sudden movement. "No, its not. and you'll NEVER understand! and you, you just cant." i said and i ran out of the room. the scene changed and i was standing in my front yard. i was 16 now it didnt seem like it was my house though. everything was dark, and evil. everything was upside down and backwards. they evergreen was gone, the mailbox was on the side of the house and my favorite tree on the other side of the driveway. i looked at the house across the street and i felt like it was my late grandpas house. he passed away a while ago. the house disappeared and i turned back to the house. i screamed at it. "YOU DID THIS!!!!" i screamed at it bashing in the mailbox with both my fists. tears welded up in my eyes. i went over to the tree and twidled with the thin branches and listened to Wish You Were Here by Avril Lavign from a radio down the street. "SHUT UP CHILD!" (sorry my dreams can be messed up) i heard an old man yell. the dream changed and i was in a living room with a bookshelf, a green couch, red walls, and gold lining. the old man walked up to me with a serious look on his face. he had a cane and looked about as old as my grandmother. he had a green vest on over a light tan shirt with tan pants with black dress shoes. he took my hand and put the crystal, i already own, in my hand and balled my fist. "kepp it safe. it holds great power, child. use it wisely. goodbye, and blessed be." he said and he vanished into thin air. i woke up sweating, even though i was wearing shorts, and i was terrified. i couldnt sleep the rest of the night. |
