| In the settlement called Greenville, SC, a small Shoppe opened, and was named after a black kitten – Widdershin’s. Just as the kitten grew, so did the Shoppe that is his namesake. Many people from far and near came to the Shoppe and met Widdershin and his three sisters, Hazel, Rowan and Willow. Just as Widdershin watched over the whole Shoppe, each of his sisters had their part in keeping the Shoppe. Hazel has her “Herb Room”, which she now proudly proclaims over 300 herbs in stock. And some rare and hard to find ones too! Rowan watches the “Cosmic Room” where all the pretty things are. Rowan likes the shinning silver, pewter and gemstone pendants, the crystal balls, pendulums and tarot cards. She especially likes the gemstone runes and says the cloaks are fun to hide behind! Willow, the most serious of the three, takes pride in being the overseer of the Snoring Cat Magickal Oils. She is a tough taskmaster but with her watching, everyone can rest assured that the oils are made absolutely properly! And with the help of other feline family members (Mama YaYa, Brothers Coyote and Eros, little sister Athena and cousins Lilly and Thor) they have inspired and guided their human servants to create a warm and welcoming environment by adding a Reading Room (for tarot, palm, crystal ball, psychic readings and past life regressions) and a Community Room (for Meet & Greet, classes, and just plain old ‘hanging out’ to meet others). And Widder’s Garden – a wonderful area with a meditation walk and the first open-to-the-public Pagan Circle in the area! Now comes the time to celebrate the Shoppe’s 1st Birthday! The celebration will be this coming Friday June 12th. Widdershin has proclaimed that there will be a BBQ from 6-9PM and that Game Night (which always falls on the 2nd Friday night of each month) will still be held. He also hints that there will be some sort of sale for those who find his wares desirable that day. But when his human servants ask for details, he just smiles his wry cat smile and walks away with his tail high (so we know it will be good!).
