| WE LOVE BABIES: The Lies Of The Pro-Lifers There’s nothing wrong with being pro-life as long as you are willing to put your money where your mouth is. I always hear pro-lifers saying “We’re against abortion because we love little babies!” However, their reaction to Nadya Suleman says different. If Nadya had all of those eight babies aborted, every pro-lifer would be up in arms and screaming about how she has no moral compass. But Nadya did not visit any abortion clinic. She gave birth to the eight little ones and now the Right wingers are still up in arms yelling about how their tax money is going to fund the medical care for eight premature babies with health problems. Yet if these babies were aborted, they would shed tears. It’s a double edged sword. But why are Republicans crying over paying for a baby’s healthcare? Weren’t these the same people who rallied around Terri Schiavo who was in a PVS state and was basically braindead? They wanted to keep her alive which would have meant spending a grand amount of money on futile medical care to keep a poor woman who was already gone “alive” in a superficial sense! However, they are lamenting about paying money to keep eight infants healthy and alive. That’s not pro-life. It’s pro-agenda. So I have a suggestion for you who keep railing against abortion. Prove that your heart is in the right place. Go to abortion clinics and console those women! Let them know that people DO care about them and their future children! Don’t stand there with your picket sign shouting how they’re “baby killers” and “whores”! Go in there and show those women that you DO love and care about them! If you are the Christian you say you are, then surely you’ll advise the woman to sign up under a government program like WIC to support and feed her baby. But wait……You’re against that??? I don’t comprehend. You want to eradicate all the government programs that are keeping children healthy and alive. WIC provides food and health services to low income babies, children and their mothers! So um……where’s the pro-baby position there? |
