| I was 14-15 years old when i 1st learned about Wicca. i had to do a report on it in school for history class, along with another religion that i didn't know much about. when i saw Wicca on the list i thought it was just some Indian tribe thing that had something to do with wicker baskets hahahahaha. i didn't know..... now as a reminder, i was raised christian so i was told that anything that had to do with magic or believing in more then one god was evil. so when i type in "Wicca" in google and clicked on the link that said "Wicca 101" the headlining was "welcome to the world of magick" i was like WTF? so i type it in a few more times thinking that i had the wrong thing. but everything came back to it being about magic or the craft. I read more about it for my project and found that it was nothing like what church had said and it was sooo not evil. not even a little bit. one, they didnt even believe in the devil. two, they have a law saying "in it harm none, do what ye will' meaning I'm allowed to do what ever the hell i want as long as it didnt hurt anyone. which was fine with me. i don't want to hurt anyone. The more i read about it the more it felt right. with Christianity i had to many question and no one could answer them. every one kept saying "have faith" well how the hell can i have faith if my faith don't have enough faith in me to answer my damn questions!?!?!?!?!?! My parents didn't seem to mind that i was into it. mom told me that when she was younger that her friends had dabbled in magic and told me to be careful. i told her what i was studing and she was happy to know that i at lest knew most of what i was talking about. a lot of my moms friends were pagan or Wiccan but she never grown a costume to it. she likes to do the sabbats with me and shows interest but the rest of my family thinks its just a faze.....um in turning 24 soon...i don't think its a faze people! lol well if anyone has questions fill free to ask.
