My heart skips a beat My hands turn ice cold I look down and shuffle my feet My thoughts become really bold I look into your eyes They're color is night fall black I'm dreading what forward lies But never looking back I feel my blood Running through my veins My body is weighed down With all these heavy chains Your eyes stare me down My body turns extremely tense A sudden rush of adrenaline Numb and without a sense You rush at me With such a powerful force Not even thinking twice Or felling of remorse A sharp pain Strikes down my spine It seems like a game Which happens to be mine Staring in My coal black eyes Ragingly I begin to realize It was me All along Trapped inside Let out so very wrong My body It begins to shake And I now realize My very mistake I let her out Through my rage Before I could take control I was ensnared in a cage Wrapped up In total darkness Unable to think Pain is full of sharpness Can't tell anyone For I don't even recall The time when she got out That memory is so small I don't know how often it happens To me it doesn't make since It doesn't give me memories To acknowledge or reminisce.
