| Why is it so hard for people to accept wicca? My mom is a very open person and i always thought she would be cool with it but when i told her she kinda freaked. Lucky for me in the end she really is the open person i thought she was and she accepts me now. she even took me to a small wiccan festival once. my dad however i have been to scared to tell. me and dad have an awesome relatioship and i would really hate to mess it up over religous differences. he is (in my veiw) a pretty wise person but he has openly stated that he thinks Christianity is the only right religious path. i hate to keep secrets especially about something as important to me as my religion. i mean one day i hope to marry a wiccan guy which would mean a wiccan wedding so its not like i can hide my religion forever (of coarse with my non existant love life maybe i can lol). so any way i was just kind of looking for advice. do i tell him the truth or not? |
