| This year has been, yet again, a very difficult year for me. Not long ago, I split up with my boyfriend of two and a half years. Well, it would have been three years next week. But as they say, life goes on, and I've accepted now that some things are meant to happen. We were never meant to be more than close friends. We're so alike, we get along so great and love each other very much, but it was just never right. He's my best friend now, and I'm glad I still have him around to support me through hard times,and I keep thinking I should just live my life and get on with it. I'm young and free and shouldn't be weighed down with a serious relationship. I'm happy to be single again, it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and I'm happier. He was a great guy, but he hurt me a lot and though I forgive him for that, I don't think I can ever forget. |
