What do you want me to say? that I am an evil person, who practices the evil ways of magick? Well, i am not, but judge for yourself. Magick is not evil. It can be used for evil, But you must keep to the threefold law. All energies sent out return to you three fold, good, or bad, and quite frankly, energy comming back at you threefold can be pretty painful. Witches do not worship anything known as "the devil" or saten. We do not believe evil is an orginised force, and that god is a being sitting out there "watching" us. We believe that god is present in all living things, and even non living things, like rocks. Also, females are just important as males, and so, we believe in god, and goddess, not two seperate gods, but two halves of a whole. What man can make a child by himself? You cant, you Need a female {goddess} and a male {god} We train for a year and a day before we are accepted into a coven, because it is said that the Celtic goddess Cerridwen is said to have stirred her brew in the cauldron of knowledge for that same amount of time. Witches do not call a male witch a warlock, a warlock is someone who has broken an oath, and been banished by the community. Everyone has the ability to channel energy, all it takes to do magick is some knowledge, good intentions, and the will to make it happen. Not all witches are wiccan, and not all wiccans are witches. Wicca is an earth based religion or nature based religion founded on ancient beliefs. We do not exclude anyone based on race, color, sex, age, sexual preference, or national origion. Since People have finally have stopped persecuting witches after countless centuries, trying to blot out all knowledge but thier own, many witches have finally come out of the "broom closet" because they are protected by the constitution of the united states. For countless centuries, wicca has survived in the books of witches scatteres throughout the world. There used to be a time when the cauldron and the cross could be seen side by side, as mutual friends. Even early christians used magick. Many branches have been formed from many different witches, there is Gardnerian wicca, which was formed in the 1950's by Gerald Gardner, and many people view him as the founder of the modern day wicca, because from him, another branch sprouted. his student alex sanders formed Alexandrian wicca, which held the same principles as Gardnerian wicca, with a few differences. heres a list of other branches of wicca:
Georgian wicca, Seax wicca, feri, Reclaiming, Dianic, british traditional, Celtic wicca, strega witches, Black forest clan, etc. Me? Well, the coven im in follows no specific branch, we just practice magick, talk to each other, and 2wice a month, meet to honor the esbats, goddess, and the sabbats, the god. Sometimes, we go to the movies, or order pizza. We do not deprive ourself of pleasure, or deal with unnecessary pain.
