Event Details: Deconpression is a Relax-A-Con, It is a hedonistic retreat for ADULTS Only. YES BACCHUS is in full force here. Even though it is not a full blown pagan event, it is HIGHLY PAGAN FRIENDLY. In fact witches/satanist/Wiccans and Magick users in general make up over 80% of the average attendance. You must be 21 to attend because.... I repeat because It is an open bar. there are two hospitality suites, after hours hot tub and pool. So for you people who know how to pack away some drink, then yes, $40.00 at the door (and cheaper rates are available for early registration.) gets you endless drinks and convention programming (If you have never attended a convention or Con as they are called by people who attended them before, because you never call it a convention again.... Con programming is a mixture of Video rooms, Gaming such as Role Plays and Miniature, even down to gaming as board games. And panel discussions. I must warn you if you a person of "higher morals" please bear in mind some of these panels can be very adult in orientations, due to the fact this is an adult convention. ) Every years, we have a "Ghost of honor" in past years we have included Leonardo Da Vinci, Elizabeth Bathory and Glenn Miller, this year Ghost will be Amelia Earhart. DeCONpression again hopes to provide enjoyable, non-intense programming for attendees who like adult SCI-FI, Fantasy, Horror, and games, themes, and artists and dealers in that vein. We will have at least two events centered on our Ghost of Honor, Amelia Mary Earhart, and of course, the opportunity to vote for the following years' ghost of honor. We expect to have another memorably Casual party, and a food function in our larger new hotel. The food function will again be a brunch on Sunday, with limited seating!
