| i know that more than a few of you are more than slightly pissed off at the bible thumper in our midst. and i know we've all got our share to say about it. and i KNOW that im not the only one who wants to unleash the bad and spazz on the guy (or girl) BUT the fact that we're disagreeing with the person, and very loudly i might add, only serves to make this person feel righteous. i know nobody here would dream of dissing christianity, lest they be known as a religious basher. i mean, if we bash christianity and the people who believe in it, that would make us no better than the pagan-bashing christians am i right? BUT there's a fine line between bashing somebody's faith, and bashing their attempt to convert and "save" us all. the latter im alright with. but again, one should do so eloquently and intelligently, without resorting to personal attacks. BUT as much as i condone proper debating, this serves us in no way in this particular case. i re-iterate: commenting on deaconoflight's posts only serves to make him (or her) feel righteous. so. i say we boycott deaconoflight; posts, profile, blogs, whatever. all of it. i know some of you, like myself, have a hard time checking the reins of the horse of upset; you read something that just boils your blood and you want to lash out and educate the idiot. from now on, if you see a post by deaconoflight, dont even read it. you know what its going to be about. why get yourself rilled up for no reason. BOYCOTT DEACONOFLIGHT! |
