This man was trapped there since the time of his birth He's yet to see light or the life of the Earth, Yet he feels safe in the cask where he thrives It's all that he's known since the burning of lives. God's given him ways out of the catacomb But leaving the place means leaving his home, He has been told of the hate in our realm So he ignores the word of god's spoken helm. Most humans tell frightening stories of him Of how that he kills and eats every limb, These tales aren't of truth and it hurts him to see He's misunderstood to all except me. Under his skin he's an angel I say! But the fears of the Earth hast cast him away... |
