| Do you remember how your fed me the lies of a false religion? Do you remember how much I was drowning, I'm surprised I'm alive today. The foolish things that were crammed inside my heart and throat stuffing me with this thought for so long was like a teddy bear that was stuffed to the point of breaking. I couldn't take my mind away from the fact that i needed out. I cant bring my self to say how much i needed freedom from the bonds of that faith that made me feel guilty if I did something that was not of their belief. It was a heavy weight upon my weak shoulders. All I wanted was out and an escape from the old ways. I have found light, I have found my joy. I can finally come up from the water and breathe. |
