| i have been wiccan ever since i was a kid and know i am starting to practice the craft more.i have chosen redtigerlotus for my wiccan name.i am the element fire so red goes with that tiger is my spirtiual animal(native american)and lotus is something i think is just connected to me.i grew up in a very bad place with bad people and with those bad experiences i have blossomed into what i am today which is where i get lotus.i dont have elders to help me so wanted to ask around.i am a strong independent patient caring person with passion and desire.do you think my wiccan name is a good match for me? |

| Yes, but it depends on if you want your birth number to match your name. Some do, some dont. I did because I read it was to make you a more powerful witch if your name equaled your birth number. |

| i havent heard of this yet you mean my birth date correct.my birth day is 11/24/1988 i wouldnt even know how to match it to be honest.i have been interested in wicca since i was a kid but growing up southren baptist i didnt really get to study it to much.i am now started to celebrate all of the wiccan holidays and get into my rituals more.would u mind explaining the matching to ur birth numbers,and how to go about doing it? |

| not all names have to be born of the numerology of your name (ISTASIS!!!!LOL!) and really, nobody can tell you if your name is a good match for you or not. if you dont feel it workin for ya, its probably not the name for you. its like when you meet "the one" they say youll just...know. its like that. you'll just KNOW when u find your name. (or when it finds you for that matter) but stay away from "raven" "moon" or any damn combination of the two. because HOLY OVERDONE BATMAN! anybody with those in their name i have a hard time taking seriously lmao |

| and p.s. equating your name with numbers doesnt make you a more powerful witch. a name is just a name. it does not define what is within. nor does it mold it, improve it, demean it, or ruin it. a name is basically used to communicate with the divine. i myself refuse to choose a name; the divine knows me to the fullest extent of me. not by a name, but by who i am: that which is ultimately undefinable, especially by a name. |

| lol i agree it does need to be more organized lol.well see i have heard that a name holds power.in my eyes its what u belive that makes it powerful.i want a name that is powerful and holds meaning.the name does mean alot to me ijust dont want any negativity from it.when i do my rituals i dont speak my name bc i never had one that i found good enough .i think this is the name for me i just wanted to get some peoples opinons onhow good of a name it actually was.i didnt want something that everyone uses like willow or raven although both of those are very close to me as well lol.i wanted something out of the ordaniary i guess u can say lol |
