| We wil get up, go to work or do whatever we do, go to bed, wake up the next morning and do it all again until it's our time to die. Not a thing will happen. Go on the Nasa website, if anyone is worried, I will post the link later about 2012. It's all BS, just like the Y2K hype. We as humans are bored so we make this stuff up to entertain ourselves. Its just something else that will give a bunch of idiots a reason to be at thier worst. |

I would have to agree with istasis326.
But yeah it’s also my birthday and I’d rather not, in the middle of my happy birthday song, have the world end ... I’m funny that way hehe.
But if you ask me I don’t think its real.
And I’m sure everyone who DOES believe has his or her own reasons, and as far as I care that’s fine.
I maybe right or wrong, I don’t know. No one does till the time comes. But there are so many theories going on in the world about it ending that it makes it hard for me to believe any of them.
We should not think about when it’s going to end, we should all just live.
But this is only my two cents.

| I don't think that the world, or should i say our civilization end in one day. Cosmological events aside, i think our civilization will fall apart slowly as it always has, whether it be via humanities volition or our planet's. And in retrospect our civilization will die eventually, it is an inevitability. Now whether humanity survives this fall is more or less up to the fates to the decide. Yet, should humanity survive, you can bet that our brothers and sisters will rebuild and raise up a new civilization, one possibly greater than ours. That is how it has been an that is how it will always be. So in short we shouldn't fear the inevitable, while how the end comes will always be up for speculation. That nor the end is what we should focus on. We should focus on the here and now an live the Life that we have been given. Happy trails and may the universes' energy forever flow through you all. :) |

It's Y2K all over again.
People keep saying "The Mayans! Nostradamus!"
The Mayans wrote that calendar circa 3000 B.C. do you think that after calculating 5000 years into the future that they, I dunno, GOT BORED!?!?!?!?
Nostradamus was a HACK! All of his predictions were generalizations. "Oooooh a great empire will fall!" and however many years later America defeated Britain. HE CAN SEE THE FUTURE!!!!! Wow people really? It's just a bunch of malarky. When the end comes, no one will know of it, as is the way... |
