| like my profile says i am new to wicca, however i am catching on quite swiftly. most of the genuine sites i have been too have given me awesome information about wicca.. however other sites lead into darker things. (devil worship) I am not a satanist.. i just view the world in a different and more open minded way. i use sage and lavender, i preform full moon rituals, but i don't know if all this devil worship stuff ties in anywhere. i need advice. thanks,breezie. |

| .....where do you need advice? do you wanna know if what your doing is devil worship? bah wicca is a faith that does not acknowledge the existence of any "devil"-like being, be it a Satan, Lucifer, or freaking Beezelbub. we dont do the whole "heaven vs. hell" thing. we dont do whats right for fear of going to hell to be tortured by the "devil" (we do whats right because tis the right thing to do!) we dont worship someone who is said (by christians) to work evil on the minds of others. giving power of mind to an idea gives it power in reality. end. (p.s. if you want advice you have to be specific about WHAT type of advice youd like to get. else your gonna get people like me who just give you general advice and it may not necessarily be what your looking for.) |

| actually, that was perfect. thank you for you advice. you see, i was raised a christian, and i just am starting to feel like maybe it all..crap.. i mean not all of it, but most of it.. and then a friend told me about a series of books that was about wiccan people. i found it very interesting and so i looked farther into wicca, and then i sort of dedicated myself without realizing it. i appreciate your answer.. a lot. blessed be breezie |
