Questions concerning Wicca!!!

| Hey, I am working on an ethnographic anthropology/religious studies semester project for my University and my topic is Paganism and Wicca in today's society. I have been interested in Wicca since I was a little girl so I am pretty knowledgable about it...but I want some input from others. So if anyone is willing to help me out I would really appreciate it!! Some questions are: What is Wicca? Is there just one definition or does it vary from Individual to Individual? Do you see it as a religion or a way of life? Tell me how paganism or Wicca influences your life If you have any comments or anything feel free to say whatever! |

| first of all yes wicca differs depending on the person.some people like to worship the sun and moon god some like to worship the ancient eyptian gods,some that worship greek gods and soem who worship the celtics gods so it is very different depending on the person.wicca is a religion no matter what god they like to use in their rituals its not just a way of life or a sunday mornign church it is a religion and a way of life.we dont like for people to say i am this way and go to church on sunday then go cheat ont their spouses that saturday night we belive its something you should remeber everyday of life.with me wicca helps me get threw the tuff times.i am earth based wicca so i always look at the postive side of things say i am having a crappy day well with my religion i look at it like god made the sun come out to today for me.that tree that brings that air is for me etc.we see every little thing on this earth as a blessing to have. |
