| I had written a HUGE response... but I lost it since the internet card died in my netbook... Okay, I'll put down the abridged version. Wicca is about reverence to nature and life in general. Mother Earth and Father sun. We were all created from the primal energies from the God and Goddess, and thus we all contain this energy. This energy is molded into what we will it to be during Magick. Magick is bending our energy to our will and pushing it to an outcome we are looking for. This is another way of putting your mind to something that needs to be done. You could help it rain during a drought, or whatever. You can pretty much do anything as long as you put your mind to it (do I sound like your mother yet? lol) But remember the Rede. Do what you want, but don't hurt anyone. This includes changing the will of others. And also remember. What you send out returns threefold. If you do harm to someone, be prepared to hurt 3 times as much. But read up. There are many different aspects of magick you can do. Psychics, PK users, herbalists, shamanism, alchemy, etc, all use the basic energy of either ourselves or what we are trying to do. And remember. All in respect. All in moderation. All in good health. Oh, and even healing magick requires consent from that person before you should do it... |

| What do you need help with, specifically? Everyone here is really nice and will gladly lend an ear and hand. Remember though, to use magic wisely and cautiously. It isn't a quick fix for problems, and NEVER use it to try and influence others. 'an it harm none, do what ye will' Remember this and the three fold law, and you'll be fine. Just go with good intentions and good spirit. Magic is never to be used for revenge or pain. Just remember this, or you'll place yourself in a VERY deep hole with karma. |
