Ranting about employment expectations

| I would have to say that the biggest issue I have with being a part-time business consultant is that somtimes my thirty-hour work week happens in a single shift. Like from 5 AM on a Friday morning to 11 AM on the following day. There is only so far I can go on Mountain Dew and chewy granola bars and after 3 AM in the morning, coffee no longer does the trick. But what I am really talking about here is that we, the employees, are expected to do so much more (multi-qualified to fill several positiions simultaneously), and are paid a fraction of what these simultaneous jobs would normally cost our employer. At what point did the bar between the employee and the employer become so high that upward mobility became a distant dream? Obtainable, yes, but only through great sacrifice. Correct me if I am wrrong here, but it appears as though we live in a world where a person must make a choice between family and a career, losing one to obtain the other. Comments? |

| Life is what we make it. What we have and what we dont is at our control and not obtaining our hearts desire is not the fault of others. As long as we were given a brain and and ok IQ. Its those that follow there dreams that make there dreams. THE WORLD IS FULL OF INVENTERS, MUSICIANS, ACTORS, MULTI MILLIANARES THAT HAVE HAD NOTHING INCLUDING EDUCATION and dont even have to work. It doesnt matter what social class,color, gender or intellegence or money. its what you do with what you got. Thats what magics about. Not being limited. taking the energy that is there to anyone and focusing and dirrecting i tward an end result that is desired and not falling into the worldly limitations that is reconised and excepted by the majority. |

| What is with posting the same message 3 times. Look, I am aware of the value of magick and how much it enhances my life. But I don't think you grasped the point. My statement was that the bar is not the same for everyone. I am one of those people who keep ahead of the pack and have realized my goals. And along the way I have seen many others realize their goals and the prices paid in doing so. Sometimes sacrifice is necessary for the greater good. But how many of us actually stop and think about the sacrifices others have done for us. We now live in a society where the pet rock would need a vigorous marketing strategy to have some success, which means the market has changed. And when the market changes, so do the rules. I use magick to assist coincidence. And you? |
