| hey, i'm Lana. i was brought up a Christian but by the age of fourteen was no longer calling myself so because i knew i didn't truly believe and found it disrespectful to continue to do so. instead, i formed my own belief system based on what i felt was right and true. my whole life i have avoided Wicca, despite being drawn to it, because all i saw of it was the 'tacky' image portrayed on televsion while the self-proclaimed 'Witches' i knew of treated it more like a fashion statement. i only very recently discovered while doing a school assessment on belief systems that Wicca mirrored all the beliefs and ideologies that i had already formed myself over my lifespan. after four hours Wicca made more sense to me than Christianity did after fourteen years. i know i've found my path and am ever grateful :) since then i've been trying to learn as much as i can about Wicca, and i'd love to be able to speak with people in the same situation as i am as well as those more experienced who could offer me some guidance? even just to be able to have a chat with like-minded people would be wonderful :) hope you're all having a great day and Blessed Be! |
