| Thank you, Raito! I'm new to Wicca and i really appreciate the extra information. I'm really excited. This sounds SUPER CORNY, but I feel like... I've discovered myself. Like now I truly belong. Probably mostly because Wicca values everything that I do. I tend to worship the elements more than God (my family's Christian), and i like to meditate, and I've always been interested in magic. | Well, Lunar, I agree with LunaSummer! Glad you're here and trust me, that isn't corny. I'd just like to add, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT read Silver Ravenwolf's latest works. THEY'RE CRAP! I was a dedicant and going through the process following her works, and then I discovered many more books and found out that Ravenwolf is just an author trying to sell books. She is knowledgeable, yes, but definitely not the person to guide you through Wicca. She's more of a religious well of knowledge, but you'll never know what you ladle out. |

| I first started studying wicca when i was 13.. then at the age of 15 my house burnt down on Beltane which I must say kind of scared me. I am now 24 and finally back on the spiritual track in my life... and I've never felt more intune with myself and the beautiful nature around me. I would love to start practicing my magick with some simple candle spells... any suggestions? Blessed be:) |

| "Blessed Be!" I don't see how you can order us to go read-up on and study Wiccan when you don't even fully understand it. First of all, "blessed be" is not a greeting, it is an intrical part of one very specific ceremony. Using "blessed be" as a greeting would be like a Christian "body and blood of Christ" instead of "hello", it just doesn't work and can be very offensive. I suggest YOU study up on Wicca before you come on here and start telling us what to do. |
