The site that you want is WiccanTogether. Their address is:
http://www.wiccantogether.com/
They have blogs and covens and groups and are really into helping out the pagan youth learn new spells and crafts. Excellent site. It's where everyone has gone. |

The term "pagan" is the name of a category of religions, namely those that do not follow the Abramatic god. Just because a person falls under the "pagan" heading doesn't mean they're a witch and do spellwork.
Also, witchcraft is a craft and you don't have to be pagan to practice it. Anyone can be a witch regardless of religion.
This whole thing of "all pagans must learn spells" or "if you do magic you're pagan" really annoys the crap out of me. |

1. To make any inclusive statement that encompasses "all" is an extremist view that I would normally associate with Christianity. 2. "Craft" is a global term that covers: witchcraft, herbcraft, woodcraft, kitchen witchery, divination and a wide variety of other skills and disciplines. (That is why it is called "Craft" and not referred to as "witchcraft".)
Spells and spellwork, by definition, does not specifically refer to a certain faith or that which is written. If you want to get technical about it, and from your reply apparently you do, then a spell is any act that seeks to alter reality in some shape or fashion. Which means that simple prayer can be construed as a spell.
If you wish to thump me over the head with your beliefs and proclaim them as law, you go right ahead. Be fairly warned however, that when you show ignorance and intolerance, i will point it out for all to see. |
