| I have been doing candleburning rituals and need to know about the different moon phases. How do I go about learning about the moon phases. Are there any good books, websites,etc to go to. I would really appreciate it. |

| New Moon workings can be done on the day of or 3 1/2 days later. new ventures/beginings, love, romance, health, job-hunting, beauty, farms and gardens, protection. Waxing Crescent workings can be done 3 1/2 to 7 days after the new moon. animals, business, change, emotions, matriarchal strength 1st Quarter workings can be done from 7 to 10 days after the new moon. courage, elemental magic, friends, luck, motivation. Waxing Gibbous Workings can be done from 10-13 days after the new. patience, purity, protection, meditating, centering Full Moon 14 days after the new moon. artistic endeavours, beauty, health, fitness, change and decisions. Children, completion, dreams, families, health and healing, knowledge, legal undertakings, love, romance, money, motivation, protection, psychism. self-improvement. Wanning Gibbous 3-7 days after the full. addiction, divorce, emotions, communication, meditation and enhances inner attunement. Last Quarter 7-10 days after the full. addictions, divorce, health and healing, banishing disease, stress, protection, transformation from negative to positive. balances the energy in the body and helps mind and body flow more easily Waning Crescent 11-14 days after the full. enemies, justice, obstacles, quarrels, removal, separation, stopping stalkers and theft. universal love of self and others, draws love to you, removes sorros and past hurts. calming, protective, serene, improves relationships. Dark Moon three days before the new moon is known as the dark of the moon. this is when you cant see the moon in the heavens at all. traditionally, this is a time when no magic is performed Blue Moon a blue moon is the second full moon to fall in one calender month. a blue moon occurs approx. once every 2.7 years. a time of setting goals for yourself Black Moon a black moon is the second new moon to fall in one calender month. any magic performed at this time is particularly powerful. taken from my own bos. collected and compared with multiple works over several years. this works for me. may not work for you. just google it. |
