| yeeaa im not about to donate to something i cant use. also, revdave. i've got a wee bit of an issue with all the "spells" and things you've added to the wiccan spells section. a lot of those arent proven to work. and you've left out a LOT of information, such as side effects. herbal remedies arent for everybody, especially if you arent proficient with them. and things like "cure for cancer" and "breast enlargement"? those are just lures, hardly proven to achieve those end results. if curing cancer were THAT easy, it wouldnt be an issue in today's world. and hops is full of calories. the only way they'd increase your cup size is because you gain weight. and its kind of giving people false hope and possibly leading people to try things they may infact react badly to, or even be allergic to. it'd be nice if you cited those "cures". |

| well hold on a moment Almost, no spell is garunteed to work period. secondly, all spells take time to run their course and everyone who has done those spells has probably made a mistake somwehre along the line of performing it. its good that your honest and all though. im just throwin my two cents in here. |

| Whoa, Almost, I didn't even look at the spells until you mentioned them. Rev, maybe you should add some background. And remind people that it is always a good idea to go to a trained professional doctor if in a state of depression, or suspect you have a bacterial disease or infection. I get witches should have faith in their own magic, but I mean, come on. I'm not sure how to say this without being insulting or sounding mean. Instead of drinking herbs or whatever, go to a person who has years of knowledge on the subject. Just because we practice magic doesn't mean we need to exclude the non-magic cures. Doctors, tharapists and the like are still important to us. Rev, I know your new here, but to me, adding things like 'cure cancer' or breast enlargment' is the same as putting up a revenge spell, or something else really stupid. I don't think drinking whatever you said to drink will help to stop the mass of generating cancerous cells within your body. If you drink this stuff, it will go to your stomach, and since it's liquid, pass thorugh your system rather quickly. I doubt it will affect your cells so that they will stop being cancerous. People, if you have a medical issue, see a doctor! again, sorry if this sounds mean. |

| i duno about you guys, but im pretty sure if i was diagnosed with cancer, i'd go see a specialist. not sit around and drink hops mixtures. the point i was trying to make here. is its not exactly wise to go screwing around with herbal remedies if your not somewhat proficient with the medicinal properties. preparing them wrong, or mixing them with other things, can, in fact, result in some very harmful concoctions. all's i was saying is be careful. a lot of image-conscious teen girls would jump at the chance at an easy-peasy "breast enlargement" herbal remedy. not only is it not safe to go screwing with herbal remedies if you've never tried them before, (especially if your ingesting them!) but wouldnt it be better, "old one revdave" if you put a little more effort into trying to change the mindsets of image-conscious teens instead of offering them an easy out. thats the reason most of today's youth has "entitlement complexes" acceptance of self is a lot more important than conforming to the medias idea of "beauty" loving yourself is key to being loved by others you know. its not large breasts that make boys love you girls, its confidence and self-acceptance. be who you are and be damn proud of it! |
