What was stonehenge?? Posted by Revdave on 2010-06-19 18:12:39 Stonehenge was used several different ways.one it was a church built inside a city which is no longer visible under the soil.it was also a calander used by pagans of that area. As to it original condition is a mystery to the modern world.the only thing left is the stone support pilars.in my own opinion from building my own the rest was wood covering them in the shape of a cone with a glass top allowing the sun to shine on each pilar to track the time and seasons.this would explain the holes on the outside.
