| The other day me and my dad got into a agruement about why im delaying about getting "saved". and i kept telling him that I havent deciced yet. But Now he wants differnt answers. I cant come up with a good answer anymore..... Anyway at the end he called me a atheist and closed minded. That really hurt me!! it was liked someone took my heart out my chest and staked it, dipped it in acid. anyway advice? |

| Perhaps tell him his pushing is making you upset and you need to find faith on your own, not through him. |

| It's your right to choose your religion, at what pace you want to advance. Tell him that he has no right to push you to do what he wants- you are the person on your own religious journey. | I believe that you should tell him that acceptance is the answer to all of lifes problems and if he can just accept that u are exploreing your faith and that when you come to a answer which you will that he will be the first to know one way or another |

| Tell him you need your space and when he says such things it make you think twice of being a christian.tell him that yuk respect him and love him but it is your walk with the divine powers at work in our lives and only you can decide when the time is right for any religious choices you may make.personally if it was me i would go closet on him and play along with it.you cant convince parents i know cause i am one lol.play along and practice in secret.if he isnt open minded you really have no choice. |
