In my humble opinion...

| It seems a bit pointless to me to argue about the definition of religion. Each person has different beliefs and interprets them in different ways. The thing that really drew me to Wicca was something I read in the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham about No one being wrong. No religion being wrong. Just the fact that someone believes in it makes it real. So, If you want to be an atheist Wiccan or a Christian and that's the path that you are comfortable with do it. There will always be closed mindedness everywhere (including chat rooms). So maybe we could all take a deep breath and remember that just because a person may view wicca in one way does not mean that's the only way. |

| Perfect! Some people just don't get it. But that is perfect! What you just said is one the things that drew me here in the first place. I had my first wiccan book and in it said: A true wiccan will never down anothers beliefs because no belief is wrong. I took it to heart. I love nature, and love being in it. But, I also believe in evolution and the big bang theory, and I don't believe any higher power actually exists, but is there as a man made figure to which we learn from. We learn morals and values and so on. As Almost said, Welcome! Kangei to WiccanSpace. I hope you stay longer than others. |
